Hentai Foundry review
Hentai Foundry is an artist community, not a pirate stream. Original art and stories, with filters. The person matters more than the tag firehose.
Hentai Foundry homepage above the fold, captured October 2026.
The same Hentai Foundry homepage after scrolling, where the recommendation rows and ad slots actually sit.
Hentai Foundry's picture index. Artist pages, which is the reason to be here instead of a booru.Hentai Foundry is where artists post their own pictures, stories, and comics, and where readers follow a person instead of a character tag. That is a different website from Hanime, nHentai, or Rule34. If you wanted a streaming episode, you are lost. If you wanted to see what one artist actually draws, you are home.
The site has filters because a lot of members do not want every fetish on the front page, and because some of the art is non-explicit next to art that is not. Set the filters once. An account is how the filters and favorites stick. Lurking still works.
Pay the artist or the Patreon they link if you want more of them. Do not scrape the gallery into a booru and call it discovery. The point of this site is that the page has a name on it.
How it works
- Open pictures or stories. Use the content filters so the front page matches what you will actually look at.
- Artist pages are the unit. Tags are the backup.
- An account saves filters and favorites. It is not a paywall for the public gallery.
- For a tag firehose of every character, use Rule34 or Gelbooru. For video, Hanime.
Pricing
Free to browse. Some artists sell commissions, prints, or extra posts elsewhere. The Foundry account is not a studio membership. If a checkout is not the artist's own link, it is not the tip jar.
Pros
- Original artist uploads
- Stories and pictures together
- Filters exist
- Following a person is the feature
Cons
- Not a video site
- Not the biggest tag archive
- Quality depends on the artist
- You have to set filters or the mix is random
Safety
hentai-foundry.com. Drawn characters are not a loophole for real minors. Use the filters. Report anything that is not fictional adults. The site is an art community, so do not dump stolen scans and call them a submission.
